Ideal candidate will possess the skills to gather business requirements and articulate the technology design to provide business systems aligned to the goals and objectives of the organization. Absolute professionalism, attention to detail and effective communication skills are the keys to a successful fit. Prefer bi-lingual in English plus Spanish or Chinese along with Finance, Sales and Marketing, AR/AP Operational experience. SAP knowledge with minimum of 3 years functioning as a business system analyst. Client base supported must include: Manufacturing, Logistics and Operations. Minimum 3 years experience in internal user support in a large scale ERP environment. Minimum 2 years of professional information technology experience to include proficiencies with standard Microsoft Office products. Minimum 2 years of experience presenting and gaining funding approval from senior executive staff. Minimum 3 years of project management experience utilizing industry-standard methodologies.
 
Qualification Requirements
The Systems Department is responsible for direct IT development. This includes software development of on-going initiatives as identified by the Vice President of Information Technology and the development of the software infrastructure to be used by the Company. The Information Technology Department operates in a team environment, and all Information Technology employees are expected to work in support of the team and its objectives; this includes being a team player, demonstrating flexibility, and taking on new projects as assigned.SKILL SETS: Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite RPGIV, ILE, RPGSQL Experience a plus.
 
Preferred Qualifications
BS in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or business related degree is preferred. Candidate must have 6-8 years, preferably 8-10, in a PRMS AS400 ERP Systems environment with heavy emphasis in manufacturing. Knowledge and experience with Master Piece Financials, Leanware, Warehouse Boss, WorkFlow, and PLM Application Systems is a plus.
 
Responsibilities
Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper Systems requirement specifications. Applies technical knowledge of all phases of Systems analysis, and also considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. Instructs, directs, and checks the work of less experienced Business Systems Analysts. Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project and meeting deadlines of project. Familiar with the systems scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the work team. Prepare project plans, which include definition, scope, resources, and schedule. Allocate resources based upon the magnitude and necessity of the project. Prioritize projects and tasks in order to achieve department and Company objectives. Ensures adequate communication is maintained regarding all project status and priorities. Manage and augment the development and maintenance of application systems by conducting meetings with the users to determine their system requirements. Consults with functional area management regarding the status of specific projects. Develop detail system design which supports system requirements. Conduct technical reviews and walk-through of IT design documentation with development and design team members. Review and critique the technical documentation of other systems to assure quality products. Provide support for designated application systems. Augment and facilitate the design, development, implementation of enhancements to existing business systems. Remain knowledgeable of information technology and Company business operations. Recommend the implementation of technology to support the Company's objectives. Develop working relationships with a diverse group of business people and gain an understanding of the complex nature of the Company's business. Maintain familiarity with the business plans of the Company and the departments serviced. Define information business systems requirements jointly working with management and professional staff in user departments. Technical solutions must satisfy the business needs for the future, i.e., take into account Company growth and customer service objectives. Responsible for developing overall project plans for major efforts that satisfy the business needs of that functional area for review and approval by management. Also responsible for assisting user management in setting priorities within that functional area and work with Systems Leadership to communicate with senior management. Provide innovation to user areas and contribute to improve the function, reliability and quality of services from Systems. Provide guidance in creating standards, testing procedures, version control, etc. Maintain a professional awareness of tools and techniques that might be used to improve the quality of service.
